The Guinness world record attempt for most people standing on one wave was a successful and very fun day, live DJs, The BT surf simulator, free lunch provided by The Skullery Portrush, and around 70 surfers in the water at one time going for the same wave.
Into the night it continued with an after-party at The Playhouse Portrush. The record wasn't broke this time but this will definitely be an annual event and we will break it!
Plans for next year are already taking place.
Thanks to our main sponsors BT for supporting this great day and thanks to everyone involved, and special thanks to the RNLI who volunteered to do water safety for us, we managed to raise £550 for them so you know this goes to a brilliant charity that saves lives.
